Ingredients

Cake
- 1/2 Cup coconut sugar
- 3 Cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 Cup vegetable oil
- 1 Tsp baking soda
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 Tsp nutmeg
- 1 Cup plum jam
- 1/2 Cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 Cup almond milk
Topping
- 1/3 Cup plum jam
- 1/4 Cup walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F/ 180 C. Lightly grease and dust with flour a cake mold. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, oil, baking soda, vanilla, cocoa powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and walnuts. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, add plum jam and milk. Mix until well combined. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix again.
- Pour the mixture in the mold, spread and bake for about 50 minutes or until a wooden stick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the mold, then transfer on a serving plate and top with plum jam and walnuts.
